Flat-fee advertising
Flat-fee advertising is a placement sold at one fixed price, such as a newsletter sponsorship or a week-long site banner.
You pay the same whatever happens, which makes cost certain and results uncertain. Newsletters, podcasts and small sites mostly sell this way.
To compare a flat fee with CPM or CPC pricing, divide it by the impressions or clicks it is likely to produce.
